twice (트와이스) is a nine member group under jyp entertainment. they were formed by being in a survival show called sixteen. you can watch that in order here.
they debuted in korea on october 20, 2015 with the album "the story begins".
however, they debuted in japan on june 28, 2017.
twice's fandom name is ONCE! meaning,
"if you love us even once, we will repay your love with twice of our love."fun facts about the group:
+ there were originally going to be seven members, which i will get into in the members section.
+ 3 members are japanese, 1 is taiwanese and the rest are korean.
+ before twice, four members were going to debut in another group called 6mix
6mix was a group in jyp that disbanded before debuting.
+ twice is officially* the nation’s kpop girl group.
